Thousands of people were killed during mass protest demonstrations across Iran.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei confirmed this information on his social media page.
According to his report, 250 mosques and more than 250 educational and scientific centers were destroyed during the protest demonstrations.
Khamenei wrote that "several thousand people" were killed during the protest demonstrations, but he also blamed the United States and Israel for these killings.
