A video claiming that a 33-year-old woman died from an incorrect injection in Samarkand region on January 12 of this year spread on social networks.
A Darakchi.uz correspondent contacted Hayot Shamxudutdinov, head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, to study the situation. According to the information he provided to our site, the woman did indeed die on January 12, 2026.
However, the cause of her death is currently under investigation.
A forensic medical examination has been appointed to determine the causes of the deceased's death. Investigative actions will be carried out comprehensively, fully, and impartially, and a legal decision will be made based on the results, says the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
For information, the incident occurred in the Payariq district. Pre-investigation checks are currently being conducted by the prosecutor's office.
