According to Tokayev's emphasis, as a country located in the center of Eurasia, Kazakhstan must have its own balanced position on international issues. He recalled that at the UN General Assembly, he clearly stated the country's position on the issue of reforming the organization.
The President said that despite pressure from some countries, he does not plan to engage in public mediation in resolving conflicts, nor does he plan to return to the UN.
At the same time, Tokayev emphasized that he will continue to participate in closed consultations and informal discussions, preferring to carry out such work without populism, behind the scenes.
