According to the Central Bank's information, the official exchange rate of the US dollar increased by 14.29 soums, reaching 12,010.43 soums.
The euro exchange rate also rose significantly, set at 14,088.23 soums. The Russian ruble increased by 2.71 soums to 151.25 soums, and the Chinese yuan rose by 2.95 soums to 1,706.75 soums. At the same time, the officially set price per gram of gold also increased, approaching 17,700 soums.
Changes are also currently being observed in the cryptocurrency market: the bitcoin exchange rate was trading around 20,066,074 soums as of December 22, 4:00 PM Tashkent time, with an increase recorded during the day.
These steps by the Central Bank are being shaped in accordance with the domestic economic situation and the dynamics of the foreign currency market, and changes in currency exchange rates may also be linked to foreign trade, export, and import costs in the country.
