The information from the Presidential Press Service that "guests arriving in the capital will be able to leave their cars upon entering the city and move around using fast and safe public transport" is being misinterpreted in some media and social networks. darakchi.uz provided clarification on these reports.

It is reported that the parking lots being organized at the entry points to the capital are not intended to restrict guests from entering the city or to prohibit vehicle traffic.

These parking lots are being introduced as an additional optional choice and convenience for citizens arriving in Tashkent. That is, drivers, at their own discretion, will have the opportunity to leave their cars at these locations and move around using convenient public transport.

Such solutions are proposed as an additional convenience for citizens, being a widely used practice in major cities around the world.

At a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it was stated that next year, 2 control posts at the capital's entry points will be moved outside the city, and 3 will be reconstructed. Parking lots for at least 3,500 trucks and 5,500 passenger cars, as well as campgrounds for the public, will be built at these locations.

Most importantly, public transport networks will be connected to these points. Guests arriving in the capital will be able to leave their cars here and move around using fast and safe public transport.
