A day later, on December 4, FaceTime and Snapchat services also faced restrictions. It is stated that FaceTime was noted for being used in organizing fraudulent and terrorist activities, while Snapchat was noted for being used to recruit members for terrorist groups.
Roskomnadzor announced the strengthening of control over the activities of foreign platforms and the mandatory requirement to comply with national legislation.
