The building of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights, located in the center of Tashkent city, has been put up for auction. The starting price of the object put up for auction is 58.61 billion soums.

The four-story building, built in 1956, is located on Labzak Street in the Shaykhantokhur district. The building area is 4075 sq.m., and the land plot area is 1050 sq.m.

According to the terms of sale, the new owner must place office and service facilities here in accordance with urban planning standards.

The Committee is obliged to vacate the building within three years after signing the contract. If the new building in New Tashkent is completed earlier, the Committee's relocation period will be shortened.

The auction is scheduled for December 18 and will be held in the form of a classic auction. The trades are being held within the framework of the state privatization program, according to which a number of ministry and agency buildings will be put up for sale in the near future.

It was previously reported that all state institutions will move to New Tashkent, and hotels, shops, and service facilities will appear in place of the current administrative buildings.
