According to the President's new decree, a special commission has been established in Tashkent to implement urgent measures to improve the environmental situation. The commission will have the authority to temporarily suspend or terminate the operations of greenhouses and other facilities that are causing damage to the atmospheric air.
Furthermore, the commission will ensure the implementation of previously adopted decrees and resolutions, and will monitor compliance with legislative requirements for the installation of filters at industrial enterprises.
In accordance with the decree, the commission will also monitor the implementation of the tasks outlined in the decree on ecology and tourism adopted on November 19, 2025, including measures related to the phase-out of AI-80 gasoline.
