According to the press service of the Samarkand regional DIA, the incident occurred at 14:05 on November 15 of the current year at the intersection of "Nodirabegim" and "Chulpon" streets in Samarkand city.
The driver of a Damas, turning left onto a secondary road, entered the lane of oncoming traffic and failed to give way to an Onix car moving in the oncoming direction, resulting in a collision.
As a result of this traffic accident, two passengers of the Damas were hospitalized. Despite the provided medical treatment, one of them died.
It is reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
