Former head coach of the Uzbekistan national team Timur Kapadze bid farewell to the team on his Instagram page.
"My work with the national team has come to an end. These years have been filled with emotions, victories, and unforgettable experiences. I express my gratitude to the players, the team staff, and the federation for their trust and cooperation. A special thanks to the fans for their constant support, energy, and faith in the team. I am proud to have been a part of this team. I wish the team luck and new achievements in the upcoming games," writes Kapadze.
For reference, Kapadze managed the national team from January 2025 until October 6th. During this period, he oversaw 9 matches, recording 5 wins and 4 draws. Subsequently, Kapadze worked as an assistant to the current head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Fabio Cannavaro.
