In a multi-story building located in the Bektemir district of the capital, it was discovered that electrical installations were arbitrarily connected to the grid, leading to the illegal consumption of billions of soums worth of electricity.
During a control measure carried out by the Tashkent City Territorial Department of "Uzenergoinspection", a case of illegal use of electricity in a building belonging to "P.K.R." LLC was exposed.
According to preliminary calculations by the electricity supply company, this violation resulted in a loss of 2 billion 543 million soums to the state.
Pre-investigation procedures are currently being carried out regarding the situation by law enforcement agencies.
