During an urgent operation conducted in cooperation with the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office for the Bekabad district, the Department of Economic Crimes, and the Internal Affairs bodies, it was established that citizen J.I. (previously convicted) was producing oil by manual pressing from cotton seeds in his home located in the "Yoshlik" neighborhood. Consequently, 1,200 liters of oil unfit for consumption, 1,200 kg of cotton seeds, oil extraction equipment, and other material assets used in production were seized as physical evidence.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-2 of the Criminal Code (illegal production or introduction into circulation of products derived from cotton seeds) and investigative actions are being carried out.
