King Charles III of Great Britain, by his decree, has stripped 65-year-old Prince Andrew of all titles and honorary positions, forcing him to leave the royal household. Reuters reported this, citing a statement from Buckingham Palace.
The statement said that Andrew had been notified of the necessity to vacate the Royal Lodge residence and move to a private home.
The decision was made following increased pressure on him due to accusations of involvement with financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein was convicted for trafficking minors for prostitution, and Andrew is suspected of participating in sexual assault. He was accused by his accuser Virginia Giuffre.
Previously, the prince had also been stripped of his military titles, patronages of charities, and his "His Royal Highness" title.
According to The Telegraph, he had also recently voluntarily relinquished the title of Duke of York.
