The Samarkand Regional Department of Preschool and School Education commented on reports of a teacher from School No. 112 in Urgut district being assaulted by an intoxicated individual.
It was reported that the incident occurred on October 27. The school administration immediately contacted the internal affairs department, and the teacher was taken to the district medical association.
The teacher's condition is now satisfactory. An investigation is ongoing regarding the incident, and the process is under the supervision of the regional education department.
