According to "TEAMTALK", Chelsea's head coach Enzo Maresca supports the idea of adding Vinicius Junior to the team.
The player's current contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2027, but the club has not yet reached an agreement on a new deal.
To avoid losing the Brazilian for free, the Madrid club is considering the option of selling him in the 2025 summer transfer window. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly believes acquiring Vinicius would be beneficial not only from a sporting perspective but also commercially.
Previously, the player's price was estimated to be around £200 million. However, if Real does not offer a new contract, this amount could decrease significantly.
Vinicius's emotional reaction during the match against Barcelona — his words, "It's always me! I'm leaving, I'm fine with leaving!" — further intensified doubts about his future at Real.
Besides Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have also shown interest in the Brazilian. Despite offers from Saudi clubs, Vinicius prefers to stay in Europe.
If he moves to the London club, it would create serious competition for the left-wing position for Garnacho and Jamie Gittens.
