A videoconference meeting dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence technologies was held on October 21 under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The head of state emphasized that these technologies are penetrating all spheres.
“Whoever is active in this process will be one step ahead. The future belongs to them,” said the President.
According to information, the volume of artificial intelligence in the global economy is expected to exceed 20 trillion dollars by 2030.
In Uzbekistan, more than 30 pilot projects were launched last year. A special strategy was adopted, and a separate center began operating within the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
Furthermore, the country climbed 17 positions in the international ranking on readiness for artificial intelligence, taking 70th place in the world and 1st place in Central Asia.
