During her visit to the United Kingdom, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, was at the University of Oxford.
It was reported that the Faculty of "Asian and Middle Eastern Studies" at the university has begun teaching the Uzbek and ancient Uzbek languages.
"I accept this news with joy and pride," said Saida Mirziyoyeva. During the visit, she was awarded a prize by the university.
"I accept this award as a recognition of the achievements in expanding the rights and opportunities of women under the leadership of the President in Uzbekistan," she emphasized.
The Uzbek delegation also familiarized itself with unique works such as the "Ziji Kuragani", "Khamsa", and "Devoni Husayniy", which are kept in Oxford's famous Bodleian Library, as well as miniatures from the Baburid period.
