Today, on September 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for a working visit to this country at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The press service of the head of state reported this.
It was noted that the head of state will participate in the main events of the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
The meeting, held under the theme "Regional Peace and Security," included issues of further deepening multifaceted cooperation in priority areas on the agenda.
At the conclusion of the summit, a number of documents aimed at further expanding practical cooperation among the member countries of the organization will be adopted.
