In Tashkent, after an 11-year-old girl was electrocuted and died, her mother stabbed her husband to death. This was reported by Hayat Shamsutdinov, the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
It was reported that the woman was detained in accordance with the procedure of Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Preliminary investigative actions are currently being carried out.
Previously, on May 30, 2024, in the Mirabad district of Tashkent city, 11-year-old N.A. climbed onto the roof of a store to retrieve her brother's toy, was electrocuted, and died at the scene. A separate criminal case has also been initiated regarding this incident.
