84 out of 89 deputies voted to dissolve the parliament. It is now planned to hold new elections on November 30.

"Parliamentary elections should be held in November 2026, and presidential elections in December. We adopted this decision earlier to prevent political instability," says deputy Ulan Primov.

In Kyrgyzstan, the parliament is a unicameral supreme legislative body. The deputies' mandates will expire until the new elections.
