According to Sherzod Asadov, the meeting discussed projects aimed at advancing sustainable development goals, combating disinformation, and engaging youth in global initiatives.
Special emphasis was also placed on strengthening strategic communications, expanding cooperation with the media, and developing educational programs for journalists.
During the meeting, an initiative was put forward to include the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in the UN's Academic Impact program.
In addition, prospects for cooperation in training young journalists, combating disinformation, and within the framework of UN internships were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached on developing joint projects and ensuring the active participation of representatives from the UN Department of Global Communications in events held in Uzbekistan.
