Turkey has sent humanitarian aid to mitigate the consequences of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan's Kunar province. This was reported by Zamon.uz.
A cargo of over 25 tons was delivered to Afghanistan by a military aircraft from Erkilet Airport in Kayseri.
The aid was prepared jointly by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, AFAD, and the Red Crescent Society. The cargo included temporary shelters, food products, hygiene supplies, and essential items.
For reference, on the night leading to August 31st, a powerful 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan, resulting in the deaths of over 1,400 people, injuring thousands, and destroying more than 5,000 homes. The city of Kabil had requested help from the international community.
