At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to the country from August 30 to September 3 visit.
On August 31 and September 1, the leader of Uzbekistan will participate in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states and the SCO Plus format summit taking place in the city of Tianjin.
The events' agenda includes pressing issues on expanding multifaceted cooperation in priority areas and further improving the organization's activities. According to the meeting's outcomes, the adoption of the Tianjin Declaration, joint documents, and decisions aimed at developing and strengthening partnerships in security, the digital economy, "green" industry, energy, tourism, and other fields is planned.
On September 2, in Beijing, the head of state will hold talks with President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, as well as meet with official figures and leaders of leading Chinese companies. During the meetings, issues of deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership and enhancing practical cooperation will be discussed.
The President of Uzbekistan will participate in ceremonial events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War on September 3.
