The honored artist of Uzbekistan, Dilmurod Islomov, has passed away at the age of 71.

Dilmurod Islamov is the chairman of the "Uzbekiston Doirachilari" public association and has contributed to introducing Uzbek art to the world in over 100 foreign countries.

Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the "Uzbekistan Doira Players" Public Association Dilmurod Islomov has passed away at the age of 71.

Throughout his life, he selflessly contributed to the development of doira art in Uzbekistan. Dilmurod Islomov is considered the founder of the republic's "Zarb Kўrik-Tanlovi" and the "Doira Players Festival."

Additionally, in the field of doira performance art, he published the collection "Lessons on Doira from Masters" in 2014, the educational manual "Special Percussion (Doira Techniques: Lessons from Masters)" in 2015, the monograph "Echoes of the Past," and several scholarly articles in national and international journals, introducing young performers to the legacy of the masters.

Moreover, he traveled to over 100 foreign countries with concert programs, contributing to the global recognition of Uzbek art.
