A young man who organized a "hujra" (cell) in Boysun district of Surkhandarya region and subjected children to torture has been apprehended. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this. 

According to the report, as part of the "Safe and Healthy Nation" rapid preventive measures, territorial authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Guard have been identifying cases where "hujras" are being organized in households, providing illegal religious lessons to children in exchange for material benefits. In particular, it was revealed that a citizen born in 2000 has been brutally mistreating children under the pretext of providing religious education in hujra conditions since March until now. 

Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Articles 110 and 219 of the Criminal Code, and he has been detained in accordance with procedural measures.
