Individuals attempting to sell electronic cigarettes illegally in Tashkent city have been detained. This was reported by the Information Service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
It was noted that during an operational measure conducted by the Yashnabad district department, citizen J.M. was caught red-handed while selling 365 units of electronic tobacco products labeled "Loso" without excise stamps to citizen A.E. for 61 million soums.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal production or circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic products, or tobacco products), and investigative actions are being carried out.
