On July 1 of this year, a preventive inspector was stabbed and subsequently died during a call in the Khojabod district of Andijan region. The deceased preventive inspector, Senior Lieutenant Abdurasul Abduvaliev was awarded the “Bravery” medal posthumously, in accordance with the relevant decree of the President of Uzbekistan. The regional Department of Internal Affairs reported this.
The President's decree was read aloud by the regional governor Shukhrat Abdurahmonov. The medal was presented to the family members of the deceased law enforcement officer.
For your information, at around 20:50 on July 1, a report was received about a quarrel taking place in a household in the “Yuksalish” neighborhood of Khojabod district. The local preventive inspector, Senior Lieutenant, the deceased Abdurasul Abduvaliev, along with the neighborhood chairman A.MamatAliyev, arrived at the scene of the incident.
It has been reported that a 65-year-old citizen, Yunusali Tumarovich Kholbozorov, was threatening his family members with a kitchen knife while intoxicated. During the process of neutralizing the citizen, Kholbozorov struck Senior Lieutenant Abduvaliev in the chest with the knife and fled.
