According to the document, D.Kh. who had been working as a carriage attendant at “O'zbekiston temir yo'llari” JSC, was on duty in the 7th carriage of the passenger train number 071 moving in the “Olot-Tashkent” direction on February 21st of this year. With the intent of facilitating adultery, at around 20:15 on that day, he accommodated B.U. and G.U., who had arrived at the “Qorako'l” railway station to board the 11th carriage with tickets, into the 2nd compartment of the 7th carriage. In return for a quick operation using 300 thousand Uzbek sum from B.U., he provided conditions for B.U. and G.U. to engage in sexual intercourse, thus facilitating adultery.
The incident was detected by the officers of the Navoi region Transportation Security Department's criminal investigation team, and 300 thousand sum of money was seized as physical evidence in the presence of impartial witnesses.
On April 15th of this year, the criminal case was reviewed by the Kiziltepa district court. D.Kh. fully admitted his guilt in court. Thus, he was found guilty of committing a crime as envisaged by part 1 of Article 131 (Facilitating adultery or maintaining a brothel) of the Criminal Code, deprived of the right to hold positions of responsibility and material accountability in enterprises and organizations within the “O'zbekiston temir yo'llari” JSC system for a period of 1 year and 6 months. In addition, he was sentenced to 2 years of corrective labor with 20 percent of his monthly salary being withheld for state revenue.
