Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned the US against joining Israel in aggression towards Iran. In his opinion, such an action would lead to severe consequences for Washington. This was reported by “Zamon.uz” here.
“Any sane person who knows Iran, its people and its history, would never speak to this country in the language of threats. The Iranian people will never surrender. Americans must know: the US will undoubtedly suffer irreparable damage for any military intervention,” — Khamenei said in his address to the nation.
According to his words, the statements by US President Donald Trump, including the calls for Tehran to surrender immediately, cannot diminish Iran's political will.
Iran's Supreme Leader also emphasized that any attack on Tehran would not go unanswered.
“If our territory is attacked, it will not remain unanswered,” — he said.
According to reports, past attacks by Israel targeted missile depots and armed infrastructure facilities. The Iranian armed forces are currently in a state of full readiness.
