The responsible employee of the agriculture department of Yangiarik district in the Khorezm region demanded $4000 USD from a citizen in exchange for leasing 29 hectares of state-owned land for livestock for 49 years and for processing the cadastral documents during this process.
During the rapid operation conducted in collaboration with the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, he was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving $3900 USD and 1 million 297 thousand UZS.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him based on part 2 of Article 168 "a" as well as parts 28, 211-1 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
