The “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation under the President for the Training of Perspective Personnel announced the first open scholarship competition for 2025 here.
In allocating places for this scholarship competition, priority was given to STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) as well as to key economic sectors (energy, transport, urbanization, architecture and construction, agriculture and water management, geodesy, land relations), along with public administration and other pressing social directions (medicine, education).
A total of 450 places have been allocated for the 2025 first open scholarship competition.
- bachelor’s degree — 130 places;
- master’s degree — 220 places;
- Ph.D. — 100 places.
To facilitate a more convenient application process for candidates, the foundation has launched an online platform.
Applicants must upload the following information when applying:
- a petition to the executive director of the foundation (a sample is available on the platform);
- acceptance letter from a foreign university (Letter of acceptance);
- a copy of the work book (if available);
- a copy of the certificate or diploma;
- an international language certificate;
- a motivational essay and others.
Documents will be accepted until June 16.
The “El-Yurt Umidi” scholarship was established by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan dated May 5, 2025. The decree re-organized the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation into the Foundation under the President for the Training of Perspective Personnel named as “El-Yurt Umidi”.
