An employee of the state tax inspection of Yangiarik district in the Khorezm region was caught with material evidence while receiving a bribe of 900 US dollars for assisting in declaring a private company, engaged in the manufacture and sale of knitwear products, bankrupt without collecting its tax debt. This was reported by the press service of the State Security Service to darakchi.uz.
A criminal case has been initiated against him under part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being conducted.
In the Yakkabog district of the Kashkadarya region, a previously convicted person was arrested while receiving 1500 US dollars from a farmer for covering up an illegal connection to the water supply of a livestock farming operation.
It was found that an expert from the Republic Forensic Examination Center’s division in Kashkadarya region participated in this case — he was caught with material evidence at the time of receiving the said amount.
For both instances, criminal proceedings have been initiated based on part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 168 of the Criminal Code, as well as Articles 28 and 211, and investigation is ongoing.
