In the Mirzaabad district of the Syrdarya region, a 14-year-old boy drowned in a canal. The regional Emergency Situations Department reported this.
It is noted that on May 18, A.Kh., born in 2011, drowned as a result of carelessness while going to swim in the "Dostlik" canal flowing through the territory of the Oydin MFY in the Mirzaabad district.
As a result of search and rescue operations conducted underwater by the regional Emergency Services divers, the body of the young man was retrieved from the water on May 19.
Currently, investigative works are being carried out by the Mirzaabad district prosecutor's office regarding this incident.
