The law (No. ЎРҚ-1066, 19.05.2025) introduced amendments and supplements to certain legislative acts here.
The law introduces additional amendments to the “Law on State Pension Provision for Citizens,” which entail the provision of pensions to citizens of eligible age without their application (proactively) and grant citizens the right to decline such proactively assigned pensions.
According to the introduced supplements, a citizen's right to an age-related pension is determined based on information obtained from designated information systems.
If a citizen is dissatisfied with the amount of the proactively assigned pension or wishes to continue their employment and apply for an age-related pension later, they have the right to decline the assigned pension.
In this case, the citizen must apply to the Pension Fund department or through the state services center or the Single Interactive State Services Portal (my.gov.uz) by completing an application or questionnaire within 10 days of receiving the notification.
The application and questionnaire for pension assignment shall be considered without delay within 10 days.
The issue of assigning the pension proactively (without requiring the citizen's application) is considered on the very day the citizen reaches the pensionable age.
