A duck in Switzerland fell foul of a speed camera for exceeding the allowed speed, reported “Sky News” here.
According to the police report, the duck was flying at a speed of 52 km/h near the city of Bern, whereas the speed limit in that area is 30 km/h.
The interesting part is that this is not the first occurrence – according to police information, another duck was caught at the same place and at the same speed in 2018. The authorities suspect it to be “the same bird or its speedy relative”.
“We check the cameras annually and all the data is carefully archived,” stated the police.
While officers do not dismiss the possibility that this image might be the result of a technical manipulation, they approach this wonderful coincidence with humor and hope the public will do the same.
