If the previous smaller buses carried 200-300 people per day, each of the new buses now serves a thousand people. Their interval of operation has also halved, dropping to 5-12 minutes. As a result, the level of public transport usage in the city of Urgench has reached 38 percent.
In order to better cover other regions with public transport, the company plans to acquire 30 more buses soon.
