A "golden visa" will be introduced in Kazakhstan, allowing foreigners to obtain a residence permit for up to 10 years. This was announced by the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that new rules for obtaining an investor visa have been approved in the country. According to it, foreign citizens who have invested at least $300,000 in the authorized capital of Kazakhstani companies or local emission securities will be able to submit an electronic application for an investor visa.
This "golden visa" provides for the possibility of obtaining a residence permit in the republic for up to 10 years.
This is aimed at strengthening the country's investment attractiveness. Such visa programs are already being implemented in the USA, the UAE, and the European Union. They have proven themselves as an effective tool for attracting capital, technologies, and business activity.
Kazakhstan also agrees with this approach and offers its own investment residency model. The issuance of "golden visas" creates a favorable and stable environment for foreign investors, ensures legal guarantees, and strengthens confidence in the investment climate in Kazakhstan.
This innovation reflects the country's strategic course towards openness, capital protection, and the development of sustainable international economic relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
The document will enter into force 10 days after its official publication (April 30).
