One of them is the importance of proper nutrition from the birth of the baby. You can learn useful advice through the information published by the Ministry of Health Press Service here.

 — The most beneficial and safest method of feeding infants is undoubtedly breast milk, — says Nilufar Urinboeva, the director of the Republican Perinatal Center. — This blessing is the best nutrition for them and provides the newborn organism with all the necessary substances during the first six months.

Breast milk exactly matches the needs of the tiny baby and is composed of substances necessary for the healthy development of the baby.

In particular, this nutrition contains antibodies and other valuable substances that strengthen the baby's immune system. They effectively protect the body against infections and diseases.

Moreover, breast milk naturally regulates the infant's body temperature, protecting against the risk of allergies, diabetes, asthma, and obesity.

Breastfeeding is also beneficial for the mother's health: it prevents anemia and significantly reduces the risk of developing breast cancer, and even cervical cancer, which has been scientifically proven.

Moreover, it triggers the production of oxytocin and prolactin hormones. This accelerates the mother's postpartum recovery.

Regular breastfeeding creates a strong and perfect bond between mother and child, positively affecting their psychological-emotional state. It provides tranquility to the baby, ensuring a peaceful sleep.

Taking these aspects into account, breastfeeding is continuously promoted worldwide by the initiative of the World Health Organization. In this regard, WHO has developed relevant recommendations and guidelines, which are also effectively used in our medicine.

In particular, at present, maternity complexes in our country immediately give the newborn to the mother for breastfeeding as soon as the child is born. Breastfeeding is recommended to be continued until the age of 2 or even longer.
