A death case due to carbon monoxide poisoning was recorded in the city of Olmaliq, Tashkent region. The Prosecutor General's Office information service reported this to darakchi.uz.

It was reported that the city police duty unit received a report on January 23rd about the death of D.Kh. (female), born in 1974, who lived in the Zarbulak neighborhood.

According to reports circulating in the networks, the woman had put a pot of water on the gas stove at night but then fell asleep. Even after the water had boiled away, the gas continued to burn.

When her husband woke up, he turned off the gas; he showed symptoms of poisoning and was hospitalized, the report says.

According to the examination, the deceased's death was due to acute carbon monoxide poisoning, which led to acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure, it is indicated.

Currently, pre-investigation checks are being conducted by the city prosecutor's office, according to the information provided by the PG.
