In an incident that took place in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, 6 citizens of Uzbekistan were killed in a road traffic accident. This was reported by "Nur.kz" here.
It is noted that the accident involving a Jac vehicle occurred on the Beineu—Tazhen road at 07:30 on October 16th. The vehicle crashed into a truck that was waiting in line to cross the border.
The car had a total of 10 people inside, 6 of whom died, and the remaining four passengers were admitted to the central hospital of the Beineu district. The condition of the injured is considered to be moderately severe, according to the report.
The victims and the deceased were citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan returning from Russia. All vehicles involved in the accident were registered in Uzbekistan.
According to the information, preliminary investigation actions have started regarding this incident. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the city of Aktau has been informed about the event.
