Reports are spreading that from August 1st in Uzbekistan, the price of methane gas per cubic meter at gas filling stations has increased. In some fillings stations in Tashkent, a cubic meter of gas is being sold for 3950 Som, while in the provinces, the price is said to have risen to 4250 Som.
On May 25, 2024, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to extend the validity period of the highest retail price set for methane gas was adopted, and until August 1, the highest price of one cubic meter of methane gas at gas filling stations was set at 3750 Som.
On social media, it is also being reported that the price of propane gas has increased to between 5800-6500 Som.
