Reports circulated that a promotional banner for a mixed martial arts competition was installed in front of the Nadir Divanbegi Madrasa in the city of Bukhara, featuring a logo related to bookmaking activities.

According to the Competition Committee, a rapid investigation determined that no such banner currently exists in that area. Per information from internal affairs authorities, the banner was installed on April 29 and was removed on the same day.

In accordance with legislation, placing outdoor advertising on cultural heritage sites, as well as disseminating advertisements related to gambling and bookmaking, is prohibited.

Currently, additional inspections are being conducted regarding the advertisers, producers, and distributors of the advertisement. It has been stated that a legal assessment of the situation will be provided based on the results.
