A man who kissed a woman while intoxicated in the Yangiyul district and threatened to distribute her personal information has received an administrative arrest sentence. The woman, however, was fined for carrying an open knife.
Tashkent region — In the Yangiyul district, a man who committed sexual harassment against a female colleague while intoxicated was arrested for three days. Darakchi.uz reports, citing court documents, that a citizen born in 1998 kissed the woman without her consent, proposed sexual intercourse, and threatened to distribute her personal information stored on his phone.
According to the court decision, he was found guilty under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and sentenced to 3 days of administrative arrest and a fine of 824,000 soums. The woman, who displayed a kitchen knife in an open state during the incident, was fined 206,000 soums.
