How many women became mothers after the age of 40?

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, 879,599 live births were registered in the country during 2025.

When analyzing births by age group, women up to 25 years old accounted for 355,111 cases (40.4 percent), while those aged 25–39 accounted for 512,034 cases (58.2 percent).

At the same time, there were also women aged 40 and older who gave birth, with births in this category amounting to 12,454 cases.
