Recently, there have been cases of pensioners receiving calls from unknown numbers, where callers claim that their pensions will be increased starting next month and then ask for plastic card or passport details. The Pension Fund has issued a warning about this.

According to the report, scammers are introducing themselves as bank or Pension Fund employees. That is, they are increasingly trying to gain the trust of pensioners by lying, telling people, "Your pension will be increased starting next month. For this, if you provide your details and the code sent to your phone, your pension will be deposited into your card. Otherwise, it won't be increased."

It is noted that Pension Fund employees never call to ask for personal details or codes sent to phones.

Personal information such as passport, plastic card, or PINFL numbers should never be provided to strangers. Those who encounter such suspicious situations should call 1271 – the Pension Fund's trust phone, or 102 – the number of the internal affairs authorities.
