The head of state emphasized that the situation is further complicated by the fact that these threats are not acting separately, but in concert.

The meeting being held in Tashkent city is not without reason: in the last nine years, the capital's population has increased by 1 million, and the number of vehicles has reached 800 thousand. An additional 1 million people come to the city daily.

During this period, dozens of schools and hundreds of kindergartens, millions of square meters of retail space, and 145 thousand residential apartments were built. The capital's economy grew by over 367 trillion soums.

According to the President, criminal structures also become more active in areas where the quality of life and incomes have increased. Therefore, it was noted that it is necessary to take effective measures against new methods of crime in Tashkent.
