Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, visited the new training ground of the Special Operations Forces located in the Tashkent region. This training ground became a logical continuation of the reforms being implemented in recent years in the system of the Ministry of Defense to modernize field training grounds and military facilities based on international standards.
The Head of State familiarized himself here with modern methods of organizing combat and special training exercises, digital systems for troop and weapon control, as well as practical drills involving unmanned aerial vehicles. The exercises demonstrated the coordinated actions of various branches of the military.
At the conclusion of the exercises, the President highly assessed the level of training of the units and the coherence of their joint actions, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the capability of the Armed Forces under today's complex security conditions, enhancing the unity of the people and the army, and educating the youth in the spirit of patriotism.
