Gulshan Alimardonova, who became the first-ever women's World Champion in karate WKF in Uzbekistan, won in the -50 kg weight category at the World Championships in Cairo on November 30, 2025.

Thus, she became the first Uzbek woman world champion in history.

Previously, only Dustanbek Otabolayev had achieved a world championship and was the first karate world champion in Uzbekistan's history.

Gulshan Alimardonova expanded this list and added another historic page with her name.
