According to the case materials, citizen L.S. left for the Russian Federation for work in May 2023. Having no permit to engage in labor activity, he applied and received consent to join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. Subsequently, he was sent to serve in the "Ambarovsky" military unit, where a contract was signed with him, after which he was transferred to the "Kamenka" military unit.

According to his words, after the contract was signed, he received 70 thousand rubles, then from 50 to 170 thousand rubles, as well as up to 150 thousand rubles per month. In addition, migration card and visa documents were processed for him, as well as cash transfers of 420 dollars and 45 thousand rubles.

In "Kamenka" he was given the military rank of private, issued uniforms, after which he was sent to the combat zone. Starting from July 27, 2023, he participated in combat operations as part of units of the Russian Armed Forces. He was involved in several combat operations, including performing fire support tasks, going out to positions, and participating in combat clashes in the territories of the Luhansk region.

During the combat operations, he received injuries of varying severity, including shrapnel wounds as a result of artillery strikes. He was treated several times and then returned to the combat zone, continuing to participate in hostilities.

On June 28, 2024, he was wounded, discharged from military service due to health reasons, and returned to Fergana in September of the same year.

In court, he sincerely expressed remorse, stated that his spouse was unemployed, and that he was the sole breadwinner for his spouse, his minor child, and his student son, asking the court to mitigate the punishment.
