"Air Samarkand" airline's flight 9S-3306 from Jeddah to Tashkent made an emergency landing at Bahrain airport due to the sharp deterioration of a passenger's condition during the flight.

It is reported that during the flight, an elderly passenger's heart stopped. The aircraft crew — the aircraft commander Roman Degtev and the second pilot Egor Smirnov — taking the situation into account, made a quick decision and performed an emergency landing at the nearest airport.

It is noted that the cabin crew, led by senior flight attendant Svetlana Bolkonskaya, provided first medical aid to the passenger before landing.

After the plane landed, resuscitation measures were carried out by local doctors, and the passenger's condition was stabilized.

After that, he was taken to a local clinic for treatment. After refueling, the flight continued its journey and landed safely at Tashkent airport at 09:49 local time, with a delay of approximately two hours.
